The frame at the top is just a regular frameset, nothing special about it. All the text at the top is in Verdana and it's just a 14 pixel frame without scroll bars, etc.

I really don't think the colors hurt your eyes... Maybe your just used to the monotone.

I don't think I could do much with the format that would make it look as nice, but still look organized. This is a little off the topic, but what do you think of the layout of the main site? PokemonCrater.com

Well my Pokemon board is the most popular Pokemon board on the net! http://bbs.upnetwork.com/

The board was reset twice [meaing all members were deleted; hackers...]
1st - 2,500 lost
2nd - 2,000 lost

We are now on the 3rd phase of the board, recently we had 3,000... But me and my admins went through the members list and deleted unused accounts.
