I got the idea from the way you have 2 UBB's running here. And i happened to be stuck with licenses anyhow...

Just finished the 'conversion' of content into the new framework. the 'content' section is the 'news-story ubb' with just the visual mods plus attachments and everything else is the standard ubb with avatars, messaging, etc....
