I have a sapphire x850 pro 256 mb, but system ram is also 256 mb 
(hopefully, it'll be upgraded to 2x1 dual ddr in a month

Jesus, that's one hell of a spec sheet... Granted my DVR should be able to handle it (yes, I'm building my own) but that's insane...
