which sites have the most members, highest record of people online, most postings, biggest database, oldest installation, etc. - where are the monster sites?

and btw, is here anyone with knowdledge of that groupee system?
it won't let me inside ubbcentral!
keeps sending me temporary passwords that do nothing good ...

Did you get your account registered and approved with Groupee (visit groupee.com for that). Afterwards, you register the groupee account with UBBCentral in order to link it to the threads board there.

I just tried and it won't let me there, here's the error and yes cookies are enabled and I filled it out with the proper criteria.

Nope, just the standard stuff. It works fine with all other sites I try, just not groupee. I have also tried gaining access to groupee sites from different computers and the result is always the same, a little too secure for me I guess.
Posted By: flint Re: UBB.threads monsters? - 08/10/2004 11:21 PM
nope, and it doesn't work with IE either.
just tried safari, negative as well.

I'm not using any fancy firewall or any privacy software, no proxie, no nothing.

same here. no problems anywhere, just groupee.com and ubbcentral.

FYI, we've identified the Groupee issue as a bug, and are currently investigating.

still can't log in.
when will the bug be dealt with?

or am I banned or something?
Posted By: Charles Capps Re: UBB.threads monsters? - 08/30/2004 7:48 PM
We put in changes which should have fixed that problem last Friday. Is the error still exactly the same?
Posted By: Medar Re: UBB.threads monsters? - 08/30/2004 11:08 PM
My groupee login is very intermittent. Works and then it doesn't. Honestly it might be somewhat cool one day, but for now it is a royal pain.
Posted By: ericgtr Re: UBB.threads monsters? - 08/30/2004 11:10 PM
I just tried and it is working for me now.
Posted By: Charles Capps Re: UBB.threads monsters? - 08/31/2004 12:20 AM
Medar, could you please explain the exact nature of the problems you're experiencing? We can't look in to issues that we do not know exist... As far as we know, there are no current issues with Groupee whatsoever.

still can't login, still the same error.

Have a look at:

Most stats are outdated but you will find some big one over there.

Interesting how there are some large ones still running wwwthreads - goes to prove you don't need to upgrade all the time....

BTW - they have now changed their searh - so all ubb software is grouped together - http://rankings.big-boards.com/?filter=UBB

Interesting the page at http://www.big-boards.com/servers.php to see what servers are being used for the various forums.

That is interesting
Posted By: flint Re: UBB.threads monsters? - 02/25/2005 3:01 AM
funny, If I included my community, I would kick Ubisoft from #10.
I used to work on their german website somewhat around 99, and recently I enjoyed splinter cell II very much - maybe I should register myself!

Go for it....

I am still only at 460,000 so will have to wait until we get another 40,000 posts
