Anyone get one - or planning to?

I'm sticking with my original one, maybe upgrade for the next generation. 3G coverage is still pretty sucky. Lovin the 2.0 OS though - work e-mail and calendar finally and games to play on planes and trains smile

I *may* be getting them for work here, it's probably overkill for our communication needs tho. Maybe Blackberry.

I am typing from a little toy/work tool that came in a few hours ago - an Acer eee pc 1000H connected by an AT&T 3G card. The 10" screen and unusual placement of the shift key among others is going to take some getting used to. Eventually if this works out our field staff will get them to chart in patient's homes and have the data immediately available. I predict lots of typos in the first few weeks smile

It's a lot zippier than I expected smile And the resolution (1024x600) isn't too bad...

My wife works for AT&T, I find it amusing how the 3G users are getting ripped off with the lower price in exchange for the higher priced service...

hmmm.. soo far I'm: disappointed in the speed of the 3g connection - 1 bar isn't gonna cut it :smash

I live just on the outskirts of town, AND i have an AT&T tower like a block away...

I get anywhere from 0 3g signal to 3 bars...

That's ridiculous... 'more bars in more places' is a load of carp

I ordered an iPhone 3G 16GB 2 weeks ago. I am still waiting after there is a high demand but only a limited stock available.
