Hey,

I found this today and I kinda figured anyone else who uses Dreamweaver would want it....

Check this out ::::

That DHTML was created by a free plugin for Dreamweaver which makes DHTML coding a LOT easier [Linked Image] The above easy animation took all of 5mins to create.

You can get that plugin and a few other cool ones from here ::::

As for me, I like Dreamweaver when it comes to designing pages. As for Adobe, I like 'em when it comes to making the graphics. Hey I was wondering if anyone heard of the new Dreamweaver Ultradev?
Anyone here tried?

1. Nope, sorry Pyros but I did not hear of anything new on the next dreamweaver.

2.I have a question. How do you make hot spots on a for dreamweaver. I was looking for a program that made them and what da ya know I found it on my Hard Drive. Well At least I think dreamweaver makes them...

3.Thanks TotalNewbie for the patch. This will help me on my harder designs for pages.

I've used Dreamweaver 1.0 to 3.0, I would be lost without it. I do recommend learning the html codes also. You should be able to code with or without a program, IF you are going to create websites for others. It makes spotting errors easier.. And REALLY helps your cgi layout sing..[Linked Image]

As for Adobe, I think it's like a camera, a real photograp her can take great shots with a pinhole camera. I have tried Adobe and personally I think it is wayyyyyy over priced.. A lot of the filters for it work with Paintshop Pro, which I have used since 1.0 also..( I prefer 4.0 I have 6.0 but I'm lazy..LOL)

I have NEVER used a WYSIWYG editor. In fact, I would highly reccommend that anyone starting out with HTML and such not use them. Except in a few rare cases, they will teach little or no useful HTML.

Yeah, and if you use Frontpage, be prepared for a code full of  's and other random useless stuff.. ughh.. nasty..

Much better to learn how to make simple pages the easy way, using notepad. Do you know that there was a study, back when the internet was first created, of college students. It compared those who used Unix with those who used Windows, and found that the Unix users, even if they were English majors, found it relatively easy to create a simple webpage, whereas the windows users didn't have a clue. Food for thought..

that screws up funny on smaller resolutions (smaller than 1024x768). It runs off the right side of the page.

I guess you don't do any kind of server side datbase integration then. The two are very different.

Just a thought [Linked Image]

Cal, that's what I thought too...have you used it?
It's basically the same thing as Dreamweaver, but it also focuses on creating web applications....
