now the problem with UBB6 is that it's not HTML, so a lot of HTML based hacks and everyone's favorite: Who's Online
don't work.

here's how it can be done:

instead of having the forum monitor where you are all the time, it only monitors you when do something and you get timed out after a user determined time.
so i i click post, it sends a message to who's online, and it updates who's saying i'm posting to "whatever"
and etc.

a few of the other HTML based hacks could be done using this method.

Most UBB6 hacks from the "pros" will not be released until UBB6 leaves beta.

Borg_5x8 is the one doing it, and he/she/it is making a self installation program.

Actually, it's "WE". And like Charles said, we're releasing after UBB6 goes out of beta. 7.4 for example, changed the way the cache works. There's no point in releasing anything except very simple modifications at the minute (like "Last post by" on the forum display for example).
