My license is due to expire in late June. With Infopop's new pricing, I am finding it difficult to justify renewing it.

That said, I know I would not be happy being stuck with an old version. Most of the fun of running a ubb for me is playing with the code, learning some Perl, and getting new features.

Consequently, I am considering changing to a different board software. I know better than to ask for advice on that laugh

My question is this, if I sell my current license before it expires (if anyone were to want to buy the darn thing) would they be eligible to pay the renewal rate for another year or do they have to pay full price?

I am rather bummed about this, but Infopop has just priced me out of the market. frown

I may just keep my license and continue hacking the hell out of it, but I think the thrill would be gone.

Hmm,

You may consider e-mailing [email protected] and talking directly with them. Sometimes, they may negotiate something special w/ you (that happened with us).

In regards to renew, I think the sales people would be the best to ask about.

Good luck!

If you're talking about access to the member's area then you can still keep your license (if you bought the non-expiring one).

Yes, it is perfectly legal to sell your license to someone else.
