Maybe you could just tell me what vars files I need to upload? I kinda got myself in the middle of the upgrade when I thought the readme was going to be up soon.

hmmm.. I don't think so, quite a few bugs were squashed and several nice features added. You might get away with BC'ing the public files, the cp will be more difficult. Going from this beta to final should be a snap tho

If I can maintain my templates I'll be fairly happy.

This is *NOT* going to be a BeyondCompare upgrade, unfortunately. The totally transformed control panel templates and the new control panel wordlets prevent that...

well, I just did some comparisons on the public templates and they are very very similar so I don't have that much work ahead of me. I don't mind having to rehack everything as long as I can use most of the old templates.

I've decided to upgrade today, I hate comparing.
EDIT - Upgraded, but the FAQ isn't working for me as well as the Edit FAQ in the CP. Is it a Comparing bug I did?
