Cola Wars - 11/14/2002 11:24 PM
We've seen some new "Flavored Colas" hit the market in recent month. First there was Vanilla Coke, then Pepsi Blue, now Diet Vanilla Coke. Add those to the Cherry Colas and the Lemon Twists already long available, as well as other herbal additives and smaller brands.
Who likes them? Have they changed your drinking habits? Are you consuming more soda than before, at what beverages expense.
As for myself. I've always been a big Vanilla Cola fan. I would add Vanilla syrup, or mix Cream and Cola together. When Vanilla Coke came out, I found it too sweet for my taste. Pepsi Blue - all I can say is what were they thinking. Diet Vanilla Coke isn't bad - when it is on ice, straight-up it's pretty vile tasting. I prefer the Diet Cherry flavors to the sugar ones (again too sweet tasting). I don't care for either Lemon Twist Colas.
And what the hell is Mr. Green anyway?
