I have 2gb on yahoo what is the point of gmail? i don't want my mail to be indexed either

Mail isn't indexed for the world to see; you think that they plan on getting sued gallore for privacy violations on a startup project?

Besides, Yahoo! only added the 2gb addon to the Yahoo!+ accounts in retaliation to GMail. Can't wait to see Google increase it to like 5gb lol...

If they do that we could just move all our site there and host it from there

Yeah. It automatically suggested my full name when I signed up, but I had to shorten it because no-one would ever remember it

I invited my wife but she doesn't plan on using it (she has Yahoo!+), I plan on sending myself 2 invites then dispensing the other 4; that way next time around i'll have 12 invites... The joys of getting $5/invite through www.gmailswap.com lol

Me neither, tho there's a spam folder I believe. Surely they don't plan to keep 1gb of spam to search and sort

Well you can delete messages Allen ; I believe when you mark a message as spam it's placed in the spam folder for review of gmail staff; they surely must be using SpamAssassin or something

do what i did and choose a completely random and meaningless name and use it for all of your email adresses.
the name evosquest doesn't mean a thing but it sounds better than allenayres12345 or whatever the gmail gives to you. experiment with your last name and a strange second word like ayreosmythe or ayreated.
try that and see what you think

I realize I'm really late on this but...

One problem I have with using anything with the word "Windows" in it is the assumed first two letters; "MS".

Secondly, I also have tons of Gmail invites if anybody wants some.
