http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...8e-4f30-8245-9e368d3cdb5a&DisplayLang=en It says it's for IT professionals because it's a bigger file than the one you can download in 16 days in WindowsUpdate, but you can still use it
If you are on anything less than Cable, I would definitley wait. It's 266MB for the file.
I'm getting in about 12 minutes...well probably 4 left now.
I have 2 hours and 12 minutes left

Everything's bigger in Texas... even the downloads
Can't say I didnt' warn you. Took probably 30 minutes to load it on my lappy.
Well during the days here in Portland it's about 90 lately; when it hits about 88 all of a sudden my ISP slows to a hault... If i started now my 4mb downline at night will crawl at 3k/s lol...
2 hours later I still have 20 minutes to go
(it's wireless DSL, so I can't expect much
)
~12 minutes to dl... Not too bad... Although if it was a bittollerant it'd have been about 3-5 minutes :x...
That was fun, 12 minute download, 2 hour install... lol...
Don't really see too many differances, other than the nagging little shield in the toolbar whining because it can't read the status from Norton Corporate and whining that auto updates/windows default firewall are off...
I turned them on just to make it go away; I mean, I run my own firewall and don't hold much trust to microsoft... Auto Updates are something I prefer to also download on my own; but the darn thing wouldn't go away so i just did it to make it shut up lol...

So much for the big security fix..LOL
Nicely done lol... I have it installed on 2 PC's already (well, laptop's)... Overall I'm satisfied with the service pack, still having issues with being forced to have the firewall and autoupdates on, else I'm plagued with that shield in the bottom right hand corner lol... I hate icons
Am I the only one that sees something laughable about a security update that takes it upon itself to go and download software and install it?
