I would prefer an option to install everything manually. Somehow, using the auto-installer, I've managed to annihilate my boards. I get Internal Server Errors every time I attempt to go back to the control panel. At least ultimatebb.cgi still displays the "forum down" message. The new Template files were never created. Overall, this has been the most catastrophic installation of any UBB mod to date. Sorry, but my board is pretty messed up right now and I can't even figure out what to do about it.
I have:
* Attempted to run the auto-installer. It failed. * I hacked all of the files according to the instructions. * I uploaded and CHMODded them. * I ran the auto-installer for Templates. * It installed ubb_whos_online.cgi, vars_whos_online.cgi, and cp_whos_online.cgi, but nothing else.
Unpacking Who's Online Variables ...Done Installing Who's Online Variables ...Done. Result: Install Complete. Thank you for installing/upgarding Who's Online! Head to your UBB's control panel to set your Who's Online Settings and to clear your cache to finalize your installation of Who's Online!
WOL's Backed up files are available on the server in this directory: /usr/sites/feedback.blackisle.com/cgi-bin/WOLBackup.
For security reasons, this install script has already been deleted by the server.
For the life of me, I cannot find cp_vars_whos_online.pl anywhere on the server. It's certainly not in the Templates folder.
EDIT: cp_vars_whos_online.pl is now in my Templates folder. Despite refreshing the directory repeatedly, it never appeared. However, after disconnecting and reconnecting to the server, it's there now. I still am getting ISEs when I try to go to the control panel.
