As it turns out, the other installation (Dave) which is misbehaving is on 5.5 , no 5.51 ... so I guess the version number isn't the problem. Thanks for clarifying.
The fact remains that a number of boards are suffering from this problem, including ubbdev.com . Go ahead and try it over here, on the test board, you'll see what I mean.
