I am very new to the Linux scene. Anyone have any help on getting mysql to work with redhat 8.0? I seem to have a problem with my setup somewhere with the way it was compiled with php. I have mysql access via telnet and the terminal but not via PHP. I selected the options during the install to install the web server (apache) with php, and database server (postgres) with the extra mysql. but apparrently it did not load the mysql.so in the library or it did not load the php-mysql feature. Help please?
