I started off like you did now. Although I purchased UBB back in February last year, my site went live on early August and I have Josh to thank for pointing me to this site from the support forums of Infopop. See me now not even six months later, talking about modifying this and that. All you need is a bit of passion and not to be afraid to ask here if you have any problems/questions and due to the people here you will get very good advice from friendly people.
