[]Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Do you have a link to a guestbook that you like? Maybe a threads forum could be simplified (almost like a permanant shout box) to be a guest book.

I use this one because it's one of the nicer-looking ones I could find, although you can see it doesn't look remotely like Threads.
