While we're on this topic, I was looking at my other stats program, Analog Stats.
Now, they display two main numbers. # of requests, and # of pages. Well by golly, wouldn't you know, these numbers do not correlate with anything webalizer has reported

By these stats, the number of requests is on average about 16 million per month. This is much higher than the 9-10 million that webalizer is reporting. So.. I would assume requests would be every single request made to the server, whether it is an image, php script, etc.
But, then what would a "hit" be? Obviously it couldn't be just strictly pages, because each page would have many images on it. Although.. repeat visitors store these in cache, so they may not pull them from the server... oh hell, this is giving me a headache

But for whatever it is worth... just some pretty numbers
