Yes, this is essentially the same thing. 6.5 will probably be quite a while since it's still in development and given the extensive changes, it'll probably kick around a while in public BETA too. If you want to wait, you can wait. But the longer you wait.... every day on the net is equal to 7 days in the real world.
But if traffic is important to you, if it's your livelyhood, then it's all about beating your competition in ranking.
If you run a hobby site and it's not important to you, then you might as well wait.
I also don't think what is included in 6.5 will be as extensive as this. So subscribers will get enhancements for their 6.5 version as well.
Once 6.5 is public, I'll be posting these enhancements to the member area there.
