I have this set up so ONLY registered users can access the chat...so far. It seems to be working, I have cleared my cookies and then came back to my UBB. Verified no cookie as PM does not recognize me. I click on chat and I get a page that tells me I have to register at the UBB. I did it like this:

-------FIND-------
if ($cookie{UserName}) {
$UserName = $cookie{UserName};
$UserName = "";
} else {
------------------

and replace the else statement with:

---ADD-----
die (&StandardHTMLCP("Please register at the Viper Club UBB to chat with us!"));
-----------

Not the prettiest in the world, and maybe not the most secure...but it is the first TINY hack I've done ALL BY MYSELF!! Of course there are others who can make it better...I look forward to their comments!!
