Hmm..well I suppose 56k isn't too bad. It'll lag on you about 40% of the time, or maybe if you're lucky only 25%. Yeah I had a joystick too once, I tried playing with Quake III but found out it was incredibly hard. I think I'll be sticking with the keyboard for now...
Also, if you want you can download that demo version I had posted above. But you will not be able to play multiplayer with that version.
