I hope by this you don't mean that you're trying to take over my hacks (OK, admittedly Memberlist isn't mine, I took over with v2.0 from Jeff Ross), that wouldn't be very friendly.
One thing to add, and this goes for all hack/module/whatever writers,
please, please, please respect mod_perl! Don't take the easy way out by disabling the features that allows mod_perl to run, just so you can write sloppy code. Learn the cache and template systems and make them your friend. The Memberlist add-on is as guilty as any of them for using patched together code, but that's why I'm rewriting it from scratch for UBB6, and fully intend to make it compatible with mod_perl, caching, and templates.
Let's write this code correctly the first time folks.
