UBB.Developers Forums Community Development Programming PHP and Server-side Scripting Cookies

Very simply, I need a script which when visited the first time saves a cookie, and when visited again recalls the cookie. It should do as UBB does and save for a year. When the content of the script changes, it should check the users computer for an "old" cookie, delete it and save the new one.

I know it's a long question, but can anyone help? I just CAN'T get the hang of cookies...

I dont see a question here. I see a 'Make me a script'. We are here to help people when they get stuck, we are not here to make scripts show us that you've taken the time to learn cookies and that you are truely having a hard time and I'd be glad to help you.
