At first i thought this was a ubb6 problem as alot of others have experienced it. But it's also happening with Newspro and other cgi scripts i run. Is there a way to fix this? or am i doing something wrong?

I have the same problem. But actually they worked well till yesterday and suddenly I got blank screens with every CGI. Could it may be a time out or so since I also have problems with some PHP-Scripts using a mySQL-database not loading properly. Any idea on how to fix this would be great (CGI of course).

the perl scripts you are talking about are text files, so be sure about you are uploading them in ascii format. if you are on unix, you have to chmod 755 to get them work. Also double check the program paths. Some programs use flock(); and it is not supported by win9x systems, if your problem is this. Otherwise they must work (if the program does not have bugs)

Well, fyi, jeologic, they worked till yesterday without any problems. They are chmoded 755 and uploaded in ASCII. So this can't be the error. If they aren't uploaded in ASCII it usually gives a 500 server error and u see an error msg in the error logs which isn't.

Update: It works now again. No idea what was wrong. Maybe server related.
