Hey peeps. I was wondering if someone might point me in the right direction for purchasing a book on learning CGI. Now I've never ever had a problem changing a MOD someone has made for UBB, just as long as the changes I make are a visual change I can see on the screen.
What I have trouble with is the true form of the code but would like to learn it and teach myself.
What are some of the books you would recomend t someone like myself who is just starting off?
Thanks,
p2k

I think he means Perl since he mentioned UBB.
Learning Pearl (2nd edition) [published by O'Reilly] is highly recommended by everybody if you're starting. I've placed an order for it in Chapters ... waiting for it to arrive.
Personally, I've used Perl and CGI for the WWW for a great intro. The Complete Reference Perl 2nd Ed., Perl Programmers Reference (the two latter books published by Osborne, a division of McGraw Hill) my "reference books"
