OK, I am wanting to set up a test board on my own computer and install hacks from there (since, in theory, it will go faster without having to upload every file to my remote server every time).
I downloaded ActivePerl and installed it yesterday, and used Internet Explorer to try to open my local copy of UBB. But it didn't quite work.
Sorry, I'm *really* not good with servers. That's what paid hosting is for!

So is there a way I can set up a certain folder of my hard drive to act like a web server, that I can get to from Internet Explorer. And that I can run UBB from? How would I go about doing this?
Thanks so much in advance!
