I am attemping an online shop for the first time. I have no idea what server it is running on, it is for me. Thing is, nothing in the cgi-bin is showing up as being there, even though I have checked over and over again. I get nothing but a 404 error. Any idea what's wrong? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Did you create the cgi-bin yourself? If so then the 404 indicates that you shouldn't have. It's reserved for the system cgi-bin and that's why the 404's.
Rename to something else (cgi-local for instance)

Thanks Mark, it finds it as cgi-local. Now the bar steward won't execute, just comes up with the source. Any ideas?
