Hi guys !! I am looking for a good chat programm. I asked once this same cuestion and someone told me about j-IRC.
Honestly, I am looking for something with more "visual capabilities". I don´t want anything free, don´t care if I have to pay (obviously not very much). About other features, what I need is a java chat that lets me create my own rooms for my site, have users register so I can have some sort of control banning them and banning offensive words. I would also like instant graemlins and sounds if possible.
If someone knows a chat with the requirements I am asking, please let me know. Thank yo.

check digichat.com - better than jpilot, but expensive... otherwise check hotscripts.com

I liked Digichat. Yes, it´s expensive, but it is very impressive also.
I would like to know if someone has integrated it with UBB. Seeing the chat integrated with the forums could help me decide to buy it. What I would like is to use the whos online hack with the chat, so visitors can know if someone is chatting before entering the chat room.
Also liked from Digi-net the program Hubz. Anyone has it in his site? What do you think about it?

I would love to see this integrated as well. I have the jIRC chat installed but i have trouble with idiots invading the channel. It would be great to limit the DigiChat usage to registered members of the board.

Hi Muc !! Any advances on this? I started using digi chat hosting, so I would like to see this script finished (supposing that you would like to share ) The who´s online aspect of the integration isn´t really important, what I need is the chat to use the ubb members database. Please keep me informed. Thanks.

I have integrated ChatBlazer into the Viper board. Has smilies, sound clips, all configurable by me. If I log into the Admin section I can ban users, set up censor words...auto-kick users after X numbers of warnings... We like it. Digichat is also VERY nice...good luck! Must be a registered user to use the chat on the Viper Board...let me know and I can set up a testing account...or you are free to register if you like....Its just another car site.

DigiChat has been working diligently to come out with a bullitin board system that rivals UBB and other boards out there. With the latest release of DigiPosts 2.0, you should see a lot of the same features but with flawless integration with DigiChat (and Hubz www.hubz.com) if you you need it.

DigiChat integration was already done by MasterMind in 6.2 forums.
