Code
code:
Add this code onto a webpage and name it: whatever.php3 or whatever.php (depending on your PHP version: php3 = PHP 3, php = PHP 4)

OK, what this does is Changes what you see as your status.. with its current configuration, you would only see text "online" or whatever... but you can add HTML, Images, whatever you want to the:
... return "CODES HERE";
section.

I have found that this doesnt work on all servers. I dont know if its due to a configuration setting, but i couldnt get it to work on www.f2s.com. But did on another server.

So.. Have fun with this.. I know i did.
Any comments or improvements, please post them below.
(btw.. i didnot write this script, but found it on the net uncopyrighted)

[Edited to satisy you Non-Short-tag people..lol "Shadeaux"]

try changing it to

as sometimes it can be interpretated as XML and doesnt work too well.

dadymac : just copy that code and paste it into a blank document and call it whatever you want, then call it via SSI.

Almost [Linked Image] i was right about the XML thing as well, second alternative is use the php3 or php4 extension.

Actually it's a configurable option on most servers (short_tags). I guess it's good practice to use the tags as not to interfere with XML.

I realize that [Linked Image] But most have the short tags enabled...i use it with teh php, no harm in typing three extra chars, and it will work on all configs then.....
