This is making me nuts...
Hope I can be clear enough as to what the problem is..
I've built a site for a client which is mainly ASP/database driven but has a UBB v6.01..this site has a co-brand-able associate program where the referred visitors see the logo and navigation graphics/buttons that the associate specified in their control panel.
When users enter the site with the AssociateID embedded in the querystring we create a session object for each of the values in the database for that associate record...like:
<%=LogoPath%>
..it's value is a fully qualified URL to the graphic to use..
The entire site is in an ASP frameset page..then when users click to enter the forums, they go into another frameset which is inside the main frameset..it is an ASP page whose main content frame and initial page is the ubb cgi.
I've used an include file in the frameset HTML as with all the site's other pages, and referenced this variable in the Header area of the Style Templates part of the CP like this:
...but the variables are always ignored.
I thought]
(usually where I get into trouble) that since the main frameset page AND the inner frameset page were both .asp pages and that since the session was active tht it would work..wrong..
I also can't request.querystring to work:
" target="_top">">..you can see it at
http://www.myfootshop.com ..click on discussion..
I've just about run out of ideas...got any?
I'm possibly the ****tiest excuse for a Perl NOVICE that ever lived, so if it's a Perl fix that you suggest, please also let me know what you'll charge me to do it-
Thanks,
Steve
