UBB.Developers Forums Community Development Programming PHP and Server-side Scripting SSI from different locations

First off I know little about SSI. Secondly I have a feeling I already know the answer to this.

I have my site at one location and my forum at another. I'd like to use the UBBNews feature on the web page, but I can't seem to get it working on a page not hosting at the host of the forum.

Is it possible to pull the UBBNews data from one host to another using SSI? Is there an optional way to do this using another method?

My page doesn't have frames and I'd rather not have to go that route.

I want to be able to use UBBNews on the 'page' host pulling info from the 'forum' host using SSI or another method if possible.

You must fetch the data from the web, you cant use ssi here (well you can use if the program you call can fetch data from web)... Additionally, you can try javascript or iframe or layers maybe...?

How would I go about using javascript for this? and does this seem to be more trouble than it's worth?
