I changed my PHP Mime type is .x, but I want to have the server read index.x to be the main selection for each folder. I can't remember how to do this. If anyone could enlighten me, that would be great.

It's running Apache.

I think you could use .htaccess.. It's been a while since I have had to do it.

I believe it's in .htaccess: (untested)
DirectoryIndex index.x

Well I figured that part out.

So it will show index.x but it won't parse it as PHP, even though I have the MIME type setup.

Maybe in .htaccess you have to change the php mime type to .x, like you did in httpd.conf..

In a .htaccess in that folder:

Untested too, but it should work fine... You just needed to identify a .x file as a PHP script with AddType smile
