This maintenance release solves a fair number of bugs found in prior PHP versions and addresses several security issues. My test box is running PHP 4.2.0, but then again i'm also using EasyPHP for Windows XP with the English plugin :x... 2 seconds to setup, so easy even my wife can use it lol... But i've taken the liberty to tweak the krud out of the latest release they have... I'll inform my host of the update though lol...

the windows installer binary from php.net is like installing any other program, takes seconds.

Yes, but I've never EVER once had the installer properly even attempt to configure PHP or the web server software... you'd might as well just do a manual install with the zip.

4.3.5 just came out, 4.3.6 is at RC1. 5.0.0 is at RC1.
