I can't believe it's been 16 years already... Perl is nearly as old as I am  Just out of interest, has anyone ever programmed in Perl 1? If so what was it like?

Not as good as perl5 I believe  it has very limited capabilities... and you can download it from some part of cpan or perl.org I believe...
