alo

i recently asked this in the "requests" forum, but, figured i'd give it a try here (as i got no response there)

im lookin fer the logon hack thing. i've searched all over the forums and database here, and, found many different "almost-answers," but, all confused the hell outta me, and, i didnt even find the right one. ..oy..

i currently have the "login" script (where, if you click the "login" link, you go to a page where you can enter your name n'password).

but, i'd like to drop that in favor of the logon thing that skips the extra page, and, is actually integrated within the boards themselves, usually on the left navigation bar of the boards' table (as seen on the top of the umbrella forums, here: http://www.umbrella-inc.net/cgi-bin/forum/Ultimate.cgi? ).

any help'd be greatly appreciated. thank you, and good night :-D

Awright then, that isn't too hard.

OK, in your login script find the actual form part (you know, it starts with a
tag, and ends with a
tag. marvelous.).

Just cut and paste that section anywhere you damn please, but just make sure that the form action always point to the login script.

i.e.

Thats how it would all work in a perfect world, but I dont know what script you have, or where it redirects the user to after logging in, or anything like that. But thats how it should work.
