Wow, I really like this UBB board. Would it be possible if the admin would let be borrow the design for it? Or would that be breaking the rules? I am using version 5.45c right now, so should I upgrade to version 6.0 beta 7 and then would all these features be granted and then a little more tweaking would be needed?

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery... or at least that's what the doctors in white coats with needles tell me...

It is not explicitly against the rules, but we generally frown on exact replicas. Simply because that defeats the whole purpose of customizing your UBB. If yours is exactly like ours, it doesn't show any uniqueness or creativity. And we really like to see uniqueness and creativity!

That's not to say you can't use some of the same elements we use here, like the dropdown menus or something. Lots of sites use either the same script used here, or other means to the same end. Just try to be original in your implementation of them.

BTW, I personally will highly recommend that you upgrade to 6.0 B7. Maybe some others won't feel the same way, but I think it's one of the best things to happen to UBB since sliced bread.

No, I wasn't planning to use an exact replica. I just liked the layout - I planned to change to colors to match the ones at my site. I am really new to this mod/hacking stuff since it makes the board look so much cooler than the one that Infopop gives us as a default.

this is pretty much the stock layout, with the exception of the header/footer that we added.
