hi
If i use the compact header....will i loose all my other hacks that i've done...IE hypercell, gradient bar...?
also, the compact header contains the template folder...is that whole thing to be uploaded/overwirtten my old template?

Yes, you upload the new templates and overwrite the old ones, so any previous hacks that altered templates will be lost or have to be rehacked.

and while your helping me, could you tell me how to use the gradient bar hack??
i've installed it, but what type of background images do i upload, and stuff..i'm confused about that part..
