(I hope I have enough posts to make this request )

It is time to raise the flags from half-mast and show united colors. I am requesting a graphic with a red ribbon like is popular right now - it probably shouldn't have stars on it as it more than likely represent as many countries as possible. I would like in the brilliant outlined text like you guys do this:

United
We Stand

Across the lower part of the ribbon, with the letter U tilted like we have to the right here and the same fade from white to navy blue. The rest of the text would be straight (not tilted) but have the same fade (white on bottom and fade to navy on top with a navy or black outline). Size should be ~130 px wide and ~200 px tall for the banner image and if possible be resizable to work on a t-shirt. We'll prolly include ubbdev.com in the lower right on the non-banner images.

Second request... Submit a design based on the theme "United We Stand" and include ubbdev somewhere within.

You guys are excellent graphic artists, a free mouse pad or t-shirt or coffee mug from our store with either this graphic or the one we have presently will be awarded to those who do the best job.

it's possible to have more than one "winner" - I just added a second request to keep it from being so narrowly defined

Thanks, you did a good job, too. It's only fair to everyone else in the contest for me to distribute our logotype guidelines and press kit.

The font we use is SF Movie Poster, and it's freeware for anyone to use. Download SF Movie Poster (79k .zip) .

Sometime later today or possibly tomorrow, I'll post some official 'U' logos that you can use.

I know it's a little late...but I wanted to post something I made! I just got my hands on Photoshop 6.0 and this is one of the first things i have made!

OK, what gives? Nobody just "gets their hands" on Photoshop overnight - it's a $609 program.

lol..that not what it suppose to mean! I meant that I've heard about the program and nice things about its features....so it took me forever to save for it! I though it was going to be like $120.00 or so, when I it got to CompUSA the dude was like $699.99..I was like whoa..and so I finally saved enough of money (many hard working hours) and bought..I think it was a good investment!..so i finally did get my hands on it!
all i know if they better not make a new version so quick cause i know i will never be able to keep up..(matt i wish i could have gotten it overnight, it took like 4 weeks of pay!)
