I need to turn off HTML (due to people linking Porn pics that show up on the board)
I would prefere to just have Flash in the sigs (ar least this should stop them just linking to Porn pages)
i am running 5.47d and too be honest i am not that good at Hacks, though i have installed a few

UBB Code Buttons 5.5 will do it.

That would solve your problem...until your users start linking to porn done with flash.

I dont want to add the whole HAck does any1 know just the bits for Flash this is getting urgent now

Thanks alot, its not a metter of life or death, but i got to sort it out before all my members leave fed up The post below is for UUB6, i am running 5.47d, i guess this makes a difference hope you can help thanks

Just search the UBBCode Buttons instructions for the word "FLASH". You will only need to edit the ubb_library.pl file. Specifically, you will add a few lines to the following subroutines: UBBCode EditUBBConvert Geez. This is so easy, I'll just show you here: To add flash in your post, use this UBBCode format: url_of_flash_movie
Of course use square brackets instead of the < and >
You probably should add instructions in your ubbcode.html file (found in your nonCGI folder.

Hmmm. I noticed a bug in 6.01 while replying in this thread. Type a ">" or "<" followed by ")" UBB6.01 adds a space between these characters. Not nice when trying to post code. Wonder if it can be made to not convert smilies inside a code tag pair? puts thinking cap on and opens ubb_lib.cgi again

thanks it works
BUT when i use it, i have a large white line at top and bottom of the flash
what cause's this, as i can use the same flash on another board and it works without the band of white
