Is there a demo to this somewhere? Just looking at the code I can kinda get an idea, but a picture's worth a thousand words!

Oh, and I'm not sure if template mods have to hold to the same rules, but in the mod forum they are supposed to be all "wordlet-ized" and stuff. I don't think it matters quite so much for template mods, but you might think about it or something like that...

you want to add the private messages thing like mine? goto the mods or final section for hacks and look for pm notification on front page install it and then tell me when you are done and i will tell you what to do next

yo Skorpion quick question.... how would i get the box between the top and the cataggory like they have on ubbdev i have tried many diffrent ways and get some very wierd results

Hmmm... I *think* all that should be required, would be to remove the $TBT and $TBB links from the top/bottom of the source of the table. Then add it between the closing

i tried that and what happens is the private message box goes under all the catagory titles istead of just under the top one. HMMMMM

m2sc i can't find that section in the public forum summary file. i have version 6.04a

never mind i can find it, but m2sc how do we make ti so that it doesn't change the size of the forums. Like it messes some part of the forum aloittle bit off in size. Check my statistic part of the forum and you will see it looks funny. That happens when ever the topsection in there.

Like if you look at You can see that the when i place the coding in it messes up the forums. If you have a keen eye you can see it. See how the part where the forums descriptions are kinda bigger then they are suppose to be?

Edvidence of this is when you scrolll don to the statistic part of the forums. You will se that the first colom that has like the monthly hits and everything is slightly bigger then normal too.

This happens when I input the coding that M2cs provided.

I was wondering if anyone could fix it?

I tried it and got nothing on the screen when you go to the board.

im running 6.04b

I wasnt able to find the exact same code, but I found it.

I pasted underneath it and uploaded it. When I bring up the main page it looks like I didnt even modify it.
File sizes vary with the right amount of code added.

so I am just stuck, I guess it could be version issues.

Make sure after you reupload the file you clear your cache!

I tried clearing the cache and nothing happend. Maybe I am just a dummyface

its kinda different than the UBB 5 with just modifying ultimate.cgi file. I will keep at it.

Maybe it might be version.. hey poke magic.. what did you do?
