I don't suppose it's possible to have one template used for one forum, and not for another...is it?

I guess you're talking about the actual template files? As far as I know, nope, it's not. Not yet anyway. I have something up my sleeve that may be able to change that, but it most likely won't be ready for public viewing for quite awhile.

if you are talking about styles, you can do it from the control panel where it says style assosciations or something like that....

Hi Radiokilla,

Er which version of the Ubb forum you running?? Version 6+ then this will help, i can't help on 5, i can't remember it's layout soz.

For UBB6 & 6+ :

Login to your control panel. At the top you'll see 6 dropdown menu, we're interested in the first one called Primary Settings Click on it and a menu appears with around 10 items in... normally the Sytle Templete is the very last one.

Assuming you have chosen it

This page is really clever, in here you can create new templetes (as many as you want, just give each one a unique name), delete and change the templete associations etc but what ever you set for your Forum Summary Page (Intro Page) will apply to and hacks such as Who's Online unless they have additional 'preferred templete setting'

In Ubb6.xx the 'Standard templete' is the factory default, this you can edit but you can't delete. Basically every forum you add will use the 'Standard templete' by default.

To assign a forum a certain templete you need to visit the Forum Settings Links found in Primary Settings

Hope this helps

Thanks for that, UltraNEO. If you mean the Style Templates settings from the Cpanel, UltraNEO hit it right on the head.

If you mean actual template files (ie. public_forum_page.pl), this page may be useful to you.
