Hey Skorpion..since your good at UBB templates...i wanted to know how to separate the subjects in pulic_forum_page.pl
i want the subjects to be all in different tables....can u explain how to do that?

Add a $TBT before each row and a $TBB after each row.

That's the basic way to explain it. If you want actual find-and-replace code, you'll have to wait till I get home later tonight and can look at the templates. smile

That is entirely untested, since I just took a look at the clean template file and added the $TBT's and $TBB's where it looked like they should go. You may have to play around with it yourself to make it perfect. But that oughta give you a pretty good start, anyway. smile

ok i tried it but it doesnt look as i expected... i want to take out this code but i dont see it anywhere in the public_topic_page.pl code

this is the html i see when i look at the html when i run a topic page in internet explorer

The first one is actually the $TBT variable... it's in public_common.pl.

The second one looks like it is the subroutine that creates the top row of cells on the main topic table. But, um, it's empty, so technically it's not doing anything... (unless you just copied the first and last lines). It probably has to be there anyway... On the new version of Se7enet, I had originally tried taking out one of the subs completely cuz it wasn't used (probably that very one), and it caused the UBB to return a 500 ISE... It probably has to be *there*, even if it's empty, because UBB expects it to be there.

ok i figured it out...that first code i asked for was a TBT but i didnt find it where i expected to find it...but after 2 days of hacking..i finally finished redoing my topic andn forum page...and i emptied out that sub thing b/c it had nothing in it that was useful..i asked about it cuz i took it out and my board returned an error and i had to put it back...anyway thanx for the help...
