I was wondering if anyone had tried using 1 table per messsage in topic list instead of one big table in order to speed up loading

I read the other topic, from what I saw, the smaller tables where sill included in the larger table (which doesn't increase loading time). But maybe I am just plain wrong laugh

It's Skorp... Not Scorp... smile

The way you do that is to add a $TBT in front of each post row, and add a $TBB after each post row. Each table is closed before the next one starts, so it only loads one post at a time. If you need find/replace code, lemme know.

Hope this helps.

Which "Page 1" are you talking about? The one on the topic page, or the forum page?

Topic = ubb_lib_posting.cgi (cgi) and public_topic_page.pl (template).

Forum = ubb_forums.cgi (cgi) and public_forum_page.pl (template).
