It's quite easy to do, just play around in public_forum_summary.pl a little bit and you should be able to manage. smile

Well, I have a class in a few minutes, and moving table cells in your second question will most likely involve several chunks of code that I really don't have time to mess with at the moment. I'll get this later this afternoon after classes are out and figure it out.

As for the first thing, I didn't see where you wanted to move it to, exactly, so here's the code and you can move it wherever you wanted to...

That is going a long way towards redesigning the majority of the upper portion of forum_summary, which is something I quite honestly don't have time for at all.

I can tell you that it is most likely quite simple as a whole, but it would involve editing and moving quite a bit of code, and would be far too involved to post in a single topic without it getting hella confusing and easy to screw up. There just isn't a quick Find This And Replace It With This option, unfortunately.

I would highly suggest you simply acquaint yourself with the way the UBB variables work, and just go from there. Most of the variable names are pretty self explanitory, and aren't hard to find if you know where they are in the output page (if something is at the top of the page, it's most likely at the top of the template too). If you know HTML, it won't be any trouble at all to move the variables around and design your own table the way you want it. And you could probably release it as a template mod here, because it might be something a lot of people would like. But if you don't know HTML, um, no offense intended, but you probably shouldn't be messing with the templates anyway, because that's all they are, and they're too easy to screw up.

Sorry if this isn't the answer you were wanting.

What's wrong with it? The page looks normal, no glaring HTML errors that I can see. I am not familiar with that hack, so barring HTML problems, I probably wouldn't know what was wrong if it jumped up and bit me in the butt... smile

You might want to PM/email Travis and ask him.

If that is aqsic's avatar hack, you can fix the problem with the hr's being pulled to the middle of peoples post by reading the FAQ at the end of the install instructions. You need a couple "valigns".
