I have a Style Template problem, but apparently its not right to post Style questions in the Styles forum, just styles, so I'll ask here. I've asked about it a lot and never got a response, and you guys are supposed to know these things. The problem is when I try changing the Style Template Associations nothing changes. It says it does, but they all stay as the one template that works. The one weird thing I found is that the Who's Online table does change to the newly chosen template, but everything else stays the same.
I'm thinking maybe something that tells everything to change isn't there, but Who's Online has a seperate one. I don't know, it's been so long since I've changed anything, I can't even remember what backups are the most recent. And I don't think I have any before Who's Online so I can't check (easily) to see if that's the problem.

Sounds like a problem with your styles_match.cgi file (I think that's what it's called). IIRC, it should be in your NonCGI/Styles/ directory. I'm not really sure what to do with it if it's corrupted though, so you may want to submit a trouble ticket to Infopop and have one of them fix it. ---Skorpion

-MegaFlare-, it's one I created, it's the only one that works anywhere.
Skorpion, thanks, I'll see if that's it.

Heh, turns out it's just the main page that won't change, forums change fine, and so does everything else It's been a while since I've messed with it so I must have forgot. Know of what might cause it to do this? Maybe I accidently deleted some code or soemthing?

If you found that styles_match.cgi file, look in it and see if the forum_summary line looks the same syntactically as the rest of the lines. It could be a character in it got fudged up and now it won't write there or something.
The only hack I can think of that would have anything to do with styles would be the hypercells... do you have that one installed? Or others that you can think of that mess with the Style Templates. If so, you may want to reverse-engineer it out of your program, just to test and see if they work after uninstalling them. Could be you hit a wrong key or something when you installed them.
That's all I can think of... Hope this helps.
