make sure if you were using and older zip that you reapply the hack to ubb_forum_summary.cgi, if you are not sure check if you have a variable named $RegisteredMemberLineB in that file, if you do not have that... rehack ubb_forum_summary.cgi. If you have it make sure you have $RegisteredMemberLineB in public_forum_summary.pl as well.

I was wondering if we could request another scheme? I wanted to use this for a UBB I work on but the blue doesn't match their scheme and even if I change the colors the images and table borders don't match. So are we allowed to request any image sets for other colors?

I did hack the ubb_forum_summary.cgi and the variable "$RegisteredMemberLineB" is there, also in the public_forum_summary.pl.
Only thing not showing up is how many users are registered.

Only thing not showing up is how many users are registered. Just use the $RegisteredMemberLine without the b and everything will show..... members regged then underneath say hello to the newest member... gl

Go to your CP - Style Settings - BlamICE (Or whatever your using) and then edit. Scroll down and you will see Table Width with a percentage (95% is default I think) Make the percentage lower to smallen the widths.

alo bookie n'co
my board members have been complaining of major slowness lately in page loading, so i think i want to start from scratch and rebuild my boards.
whats the newest, cleanest "blam" version y'got? (didnt know if there was one in the works, of if i should just grab the "least-oldest" from in here ...?)

actually, bookie -- is there anyway to get a version that is less reliant upon the CSS styles? possibly not at all?
i think thats partially what is giving a lot of my users load-time problems (for whatever reason).
id love to help out reworking it with/for you, i just dont really know what parts to change or alter, etc (not much of a coder, outside html).
lemme know!

they should be faster with css, increased load times would be due to server load... the pages are smaller with css in'em

doh!
hmm... then mebbe its all the graphics going around the post tables? even tho they only total 5kb, i think...
man, i dont know. it just seems that some users are having a difficult time with things, always complaining about the speed, while others are simply breezing right through.
i is confused!

One thing you might consider is that those on slower computers will have some difficulty with these templates as they use a lot of html and images to make this look. It can take a bit for them to write all that html out - especially on slower computers. They look nice, but it does take a little while to render on my pII 233 with dialup at home

yeah, thats what im fearing.
some users are complaining that the design can take from 10 to 30 seconds per page to load, which takes all the fun outta posting.
which is really disheartening, considering those same users posted without trouble before the inclusion of the blam! template set.
is there anything else in the design that just outright slows things down (compared to, say, ubbdev's more "standard" look?)
for example, does seperating the posts into their own little tables create a processor drain?
bottom line, is there any lil thing i can do to alter the design of the templates so that they'll load significantly faster?

Is this going to be ported to 6.4? I LOVE BLAMIce, but when I upgraded to 6.4, it broke.

I may port it, but I would have to practically almost rebuild it. So I think I may just make a whole different template set instead.

Hi. To the guy who couldn't get registered members to show in Bookie's most excellemt BLAM template, go into CP and make sure the feature is enabled in General Display. Mine turned itself off when I installed the BLAMIce templates.
Worked for me.
