We have a new site that we are working on that is useing a table that uses SSI to fill the different cells ie: menu, header, footer, main cell... Ok so when we cut the code and wrap it around the UBB in the 'header' and 'footer' fields in the general settings control panel form....it updates threads, but when we view it the table properties like border widths and colors are there, but none of the SSI calls seem to have worked....is there some special way to embed the SSI calls into the UBB? Thanks for all of you help....

I really don't think you can SSI to a cgi file. You can SSI in the threads if your threads can be parsed by the server (you may have to change their extensions to .shtml - there's a mod for that).

Good luck, ask again if I misunderstood your intent.
