how do you group all your icons together? (the profile, email, PM icons that appear by individual posts).

whenever i try, i just get spaces between the images

Took some tracking down, but I think I found what you need.

AFAIK, this stuff starts at line 750 of ubb_lib_posting.cgi. All the images you're talking about have two coded spaces in front of them ("&_nbsp;", without the underscore). All you should have to do is remove all the space codes from in front of the images. Reupload in ASCII, then refresh your cache.

Ok..

I did what you said..went into of ubb_lib_posting.cgi and did what you said. First off..I looked around and line 750 wasn't accurate from what I saw..some of the modifications needed to be made up higher.

Secondly...I cannot get the last two pieces to come together..

Now..I viewed my source code AND searched for the ( ) tags everywhere and I cannot find any that would still give me this problem..

Those two MIGHT be in the wordlets somewhere. Try checking there.

anywho, thanks for the feedback. to be honest, i havent yet attempted this on the gold version of v6. my last attempt was on one of the betas, so things MIGHT have changed, but... i think i remember doing something similar to that, but not getting the results i was looking for.

ill try to mess around with it a little, now, n'mebbe it IS that simple in "gold." ill get back t'ya
