By putting javascript on other pages, I can read cookies and display username, recient visitors, and other informaiton, but I want to do the opposite as well.
Is there something I can place on html pages that are not part of ubb classic that will interact with the cgi of ubb classic so that all pages of the web site register recient visitors, guests, members, and the likes?
I thought about putting a one pixel by one pixel image call to ultimatebb.cgi but that seems like it would over tax the program and server.

You can't directly link them but you can display infomation via SSI. Hacks like UBBNews and Latest Threads use that and the UBB.Portal is coming soon which will be the best thing for displaying UBB info on other pages.

LD, forgive my ignorance, but how would you make a "Latest Threads:" sidebar like they have on this site?
