I am pretty sure they are working on a modification in the beta forums for this, check there... might be called "cwm smilies" or something similar.

CWM hack is lame, it's THEIR smilies on a map, no custom ones. Don't bother. It even had a damn logo image of their site with link underneath.
To add Instant Graemlins, edit these files and just search for smile.gif to find the graemlins code:
public_common.pl (template)
